Rate increases
The M-DWSC Board of Directors held a public meeting on May 20, 2024 and voted to change monthly rates on water service for all members. We will be switching to Water Conservation Block Rates adding 2 new tiers. This should only effect about 5% of our high usage customers. Customers using less than 25,000 gallons per month should see no change in their monthly bill. We are also changing the way we bill mastered metered accounts. The Directors on the board consider these rate increases necessary to continue supporting current and upcoming projects that are critical for maintaining system infrastructure and support the escalating costs of operations. These vital improvements further ensure the continuous strategic efforts that will secure the longevity of our water system.
Additionally (Master Metered services will be billed by Department Analysis using Equivalent Residential Connection (ERC) Equivalency factors.)

A monthly meter fee will be charged to customer's account regardless of water use. Even if customer has not connected their line to the meter.
