Rate increases

The M-DWSC Board of Directors held a public meeting on November 17, 2025 and voted to change monthly rates on water service for all members. The Directors on the board consider this rate increase necessary to continue supporting current and upcoming projects that are critical for maintaining system infrastructure, support and the escalating costs of operations. These vital improvements further ensure the continuous strategic efforts that will secure the longevity of our water system.

Additionally (Master Metered services will be billed by Department Analysis using Equivalent Residential Connection (ERC) Equivalency factors.)

A MONTHLY METER FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO CUSTOMER'S ACCOUNT REGARDLESS OF WATER USE.  EVEN IF CUSTOMER HAS NOT CONNECTED THEIR LINE TO THE METER

Regarding Past Due Accounts

Delinquent Bills: A bill is delinquent if not paid by the 16th day of the month.  Final notices shall be mailed on or about the 17th day of the month after late charges and penalties have been assessed, allowing 10 additional days for payment prior to disconnection.

A locked meter fee of $102.00 will be added to the delinquent account.  
Once the meter has been locked it will remain locked until the next business day and the balance has been paid in FULL.
